When you don’t drink enough water, the body sometimes mistake hunger as thirst. Drink a warm cup of tea and wait for 10 minutes before picking up some food.

Are you skipping breakfast? DON’T. Breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day as it kick starts your metabolism and prevents you from overeating throughout the day. Include some protein in your meal as it keeps us fuller for longer.
The best breakfast? Two pieces of wholemeal bread, poached eggs, and a glass of milk. Tried and tested.
You eat too much carbs

Carbohydrates from foods like bread, rice, pasta gets absorbed in the body faster than other nutrients. Once the sugar in our blood is kept for storage, the body gets hungry as it wants to replace the sugar that is now no longer in the blood. It’s best to consume complex carbs that take a longer time to be absorbed in the body, such as wholegrain varieties and brown rice.

When you don’t get enough sleep, your body will try to get you more energy in the form of food. What’s worse is that you’ll crave the bad high fat and sugar stuff because that’s what your body thinks would provide you with the most amount of energy.
But sometimes we can’t help it, so why not grab a handful of healthy snacks instead?

You may be eating too little and your meals may have been too small. If you’re trying to lose weight, have a hearty breakfast with the right balance of wholegrain carbs, protein, and healthy fats, and then have smaller meals throughout the day. Being hangry is a baaaaaad thing because you’re likely to succumb to your cravings anytime.
