recipe: Matcha Granola Yogurt Ice Cream
Feel like treating yourself to some ice cream? Make your own healthy ice-cream!
This recipe is easy, quick, and super duper healthy. It also means that… you get to have ice cream anytime you want! 😉
- In a large bowl, pour in the yogurt.
- Mix in matcha powder.
- Add Matchazuki Granola and fold well.
- Let it freeze for 2 hours. Serve with Peanut Pretzel Muddy Bites! Yums.
Other ways you can enjoy it
Blend the yogurt with some berries and a spoonful of honey for a smoothie ice cream!

Choose matcha powder over tea leaves when you can as the nutrients in matcha powder is incredibly more powerful than loose tea leaves. A study done found that it contains 137 times more EGCG (an antioxidant that helps to fight cancer cells) than loose green tea leaves!

Matcha was first discovered 4000 years ago in China, and was brought over to Japan by Japanese monks in the 7th century. Tea farms and agriculture started around monasteries in the Uji region (near Kyoto), and so the birthplace of Matcha was formed.
